I dont know what to say...

Nothing of that sort. Title is just a joke on you-know-who.

Health. Good health. Bad health. Healthy. Don't we all wish we're healthy. Without any sickness, without any ailments. And especially now that I'm reaching 40 pretty soon, 2 years to be exact, having the optimum health is of my major concern. Not that I am getting sick or anything. As the adage goes, 'Prevention is better than cure', how true that is. Having ailings that was passed down by your folks doesn't help as well. But you just got to accept it.

I was diagnosed with mild hypertension back in my pre-NS days, that didnt stopped them from labeling me Pes B, "Fit for Combat" or so I thought. IPPT was such a chore. Trying to keep up running with the faster runner was a challenge, keeping up with those 4 years my junior was an uphill task by itself, so I stayed in the rear with all the 'fat','lazy', heavy squad mates. I stood out prominent there. Being the only one of not 'overweight' size. Darn it, amongst that group, I look skinny!!

But one thing I noticed with all that running, I managed to improve my stamina, before long, I could run on par with the 'less fast' runners. i.e. instead of at the back, I'm at the middle now. Not so fast, but still not last. The forgotten group I must say. I was happy enough that no one will notice me there.

Out of BMT, out of NS, work commitments, life commitments, stresses, undue unhappyness, all life tribulations happen in sequence. And so, almost 2 months back, I was diagnosed with a very high-blood pressure. It was so high that the snooty doctor got into panic attack and asked me to visit my own doctor immediately. Her snobbishness make me the more refuse to heed her advice.

Today I went for the follow-up and my hypertension was still high 160/110. For those who dont know, that's awfully high. So with this, I try to plan, initiate a go away hypertension. Call it my own hypertension manifesto.

1) Stop smoking -this need no explaining
2) Stop drinking excessively - point taken.
3) Exercise- how many times have I tried this, has always been on and off thingy.
4) Eat healthily- less salt, less sugar, less oil. Shouldnt be a problem.
5) Dont forget to take my medication.

Just 5 points, it shouldnt be that difficult.
